Finding homes for ex-prisoners in need finds an ex-prisoner to be best person for the job

I am pleased to announce that I have completed the probationary period of my hiring and accepted a part-time position working with the registered charity, Restorative Justice Housing Ontario (rjho.ca) as its Program Director.

The charity is entirely donor-financed and was created by professionals in the housing and correctional services field who saw a need to assist elderly ex-prisoners who are committed to reform and reintegration after release find safe places to live that they could not otherwise by virtue of that same criminal history. The charity's efforts are "win-win" as they improve lives, reduce crime, and save social costs and the taxpayer funding of services.
